I would to thank all of the people who came to my “Build Strategies for .NET” talk at the Day of .NET event today. We had a great turn out and I think it went pretty well (we’ll know after we see the evaluations – please be kind). As promised here are my slides and demos.

First Inaugural Chicagoland Nerd Dinner

October 29th, 2004 Comments off

We’re going to hold the inaugural Chicagoland Nerd Dinner tomorrow after the “Day of .NET V” event. We’ll plan on meetingat Prairie Rock Brewery in Schaumburgright after things wrap up at DoDN. Actually it’s going to be more of a “Drink and Geek” (hey, new URL potential) as many people have notified me that they can only stay for a short time due to committments with Halloween parties. See you all tomorrow!

We have over 420 registered for the Day of .NET event this Saturday! 3 Tracks, 15 sessions, 10 speakers and a number of sponsors -looks to be shaping up to be a great event. I’m looking forward to it.

We’re making last minute preparations to schedule the first inaugural Chicago Nerd Dinner to be held right after the event. Locations being considered are Alumni Club, Giordanos, Prairie Rock Brewery. Does anyone have a preference? We’ll announce the location at the event or better yet, you could keep in eye on the Chicago Nerd Dinner site for the location.
