Being the Developer Evangelist for the Midwest district means that I now sponsor a number of different user groups across three states, Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin. I want to make it easier for developers to find the events closest to them so I will be creating 3 new categories to support this: Illinois Events, Indiana Events and Wisconsin Events. Suscribe to the feed that matters most to you or subscribe to them all!

With the advent of web-services, more and more companies are finding that applications developed to meet departmental needs are organically becoming organizationally mission critical. Now that web services are becoming pervasive, have you thought about how you are going to provide scalable, reliable web services oriented solutions yet? In this discussion, we will review Microsoft’s Windows Workflow (WWF) Services and demonstrate various solutions for providing scalable reliable web service based solutions using WWF for applications that have become ‘unintentionally’ mission critical. During this presentation WinFX (Indigo / WWF), BizTalk and Appistry’s Enterprise Application Fabric will be discussed and demonstrated.
