IE7 Launched for Windows XP

October 18th, 2006 Comments off

While taking a few years off of new development, the IE team suddenly realized that Browser Wars II was in full swing. Not one to be left behind, the IE7 team jumped into action to provide a cleaner, safer and tabbier environment for you to peruse around the wild-wild-web with. The fruits of their efforts have officially been released today for Windows XP. You Vista peeps (me being included in that admirable group) will have to wait a few more weeks for the Vista RTM to get our hands on IE7′s final bits. Just so you know, I’ve been toldby a little birdie that you won’t have to wait another 4+ years for the next release of IE.
