Ajax and DevCares

January 25th, 2007

As you are probably aware of by now, the Web & Platform tools team at Microsoft has justreleased v1.0 of ASP.NET AJAX (affectionatly known in the past as ‘Atlas’). ASP.NET AJAX is a *free*framework of server controls and client-side javascript libraries for creating that “next gen” of web applications. One of the great things that came out of the ASP.NET AJAX project was the decision to make the client-side libraries available for the non-ASP.NET web developers through the Microsoft AJAX Library.

Speaking of ASP.NET AJAX, this month’s DevCares will dive head first into ASP.NET AJAX and all of it’s goodness. Come join us in Downers Grove on Wednesday, January 31st and learn how you can quickly and easily leverage your existing web development skills to take advantage of this new “user experience” paradigm. Not only will you learn some great insight into building your next gen web applications, but you’ll also have a chance to walk home with a Zunein your pocket!

What: DevCares – ASP.NET AJAX
When: Wednesday, January 31st, 2007, 1PM
Where: Microsoft, 3025 Highland Parkway, Suite 300, Downers Grove, IL(Map)
