MIX’07 – The Announcements and the Downloads
I wanted to blog during the MIX’07 Keynote on Monday but between Twitter’ing and listinging to the plethera of announcements, my notetaking suffered great. My fellow DE out of the Pacific Northwest, Jason Mauer, did a much better job than I ever could. Read his rundown of the keynote as it happend.

- Silverlight community sitegoes livewith Samples, Quickstartsand some?How Do I?? videos
- Silverlight 1.0 Beta available for download today
- Silverllight brings the .NET CLR to the Mac
- Silverlight Streaming Service (Alpha); a companion service to Silverlight that provides 4GB (!) of free storage and hosting of rich media content
- Expression Studio has shipped; each MIX attendee will receive a commenrative edition
- Expression Blend 2.0 May CTP available today
- Silverlight Add-on pack available for Visual Studio Codename “Orcas” Beta 1; supports cross-platform debugging, Yes, integrated debugging in Visual Studio against an application running on the Mac!
- Silverlight 1.1 Alpha available; 1.1 will offer broader language support including JavaScript, Visual Bsaic, C#, Python and Ruby
